Has anyone been able to find the passage in the MLB rulebook about where the first baseman needs to be in relation to the base to receive a pickoff throw?
Remember that stretch earlier in the year when it felt like no matter how far the Cubs fell behind they were going to come back and make things interesting? How did we go from that to a team where a 1 run deficit feels almost insurmountable?

The Cubs are doing everything they can possibly do to avoid the double play with Castro, yet he continues to hit into them. Maybe it is a bit of bad luck, but he is a complete liability at the plate right now
