    He may not have the greatest range and the accuracy and release time on his throws leaves something to be desired, but he has great hands and has made some really nice plays on hard hit balls.

    I was at today's game and was somewhat surprised by the number of empty seats. Yes, I have come to expect that over the past few years, but with the team playing well I am surprised that attendance hasn't bounced back more quickly. Especially on a warm Sunday afternoon in May, what is holding people back? StubHub sales seem to reflect the same sluggish demand, with even marquee weekend games selling at a loss. What do you think it will take for us to see Wrigley packed on a consistent basis again?

    By offering him a max deal. Or letting another team. Bird rights and RFA means he's ours if we want him. I understand that it is possible, but wouldn't it put them into uncharted luxury tax territory? That certainly doesn't seem like something Reinsdorf would be thrilled about.
