Dusty purposely doesn't put good OBP guys in the lead off spot because OBP is a new school line of thinking and bucks his old school way of thinking. He just won't have that. In May, it will be enjoyable to read Reds44 correspondence when Dusty leaves Homer, Edinson and Johnny in blow out games after they have thrown over 120 pitches. In Dusty's eyes, April is to get these guys stretched out. In May, Dusty won't trust his bullpen to hold a lead and he'll let the young starters burn themselves out. Book it.
