That is hilarious. JT is finally going to succumb to one of the many vd's he has aquired. Penicillin is no longer effective for him. That's what happens when you are infected dozens of times and they grow a tolerance for conventional medication.

And millions of people need homes that won't be destroyed again. Thousands of people have already died, one more won't hurt. Why so selfish? Maybe you just have a serious lack of perspective. Bit of a jazz fan AC? I understand what you're saying, but jazz is hardly the issue. How about economic/geographic feesability? I'm a huge jazz fan, but there are more important issues to contend with.

I know with the emergence of Z and Prior you may not know this, but front line starters don't grow on trees. Most teams would kill to have one pitcher with that kind of talent. You have three.

Tony does complain in the press more than I like, but I would be interested to see if you have any actual evidence to prove he retaliates more than anybody. I understand that it is magnified to you because he is your hated rival, but how about trying to have an actual point to your posts instead of just making things up. -
You could maybe use one or two and get the same point across duder.

That's a little extreme. After serving one game of their suspensions, the disciplinary committee is reviewing the punishments. I don't think Dunc deserved 4 games, but I didn't think it was that inappropriate of a punishment either. -
++ I can't imagine New Orleans not being New Orleans. In a relatively young country, it is maybe the most culturally significant city outside of New York. I'm not saying it is, i'm just saying the argument is there. If any of you have spent any time in the French Quarter or walked down the boulevards and seen the architecture and cultural sites, you would want it restored.

K-Town - Please just give it up. You have your opinion, they have theirs, rehashing your point 4,302,193,092 times isn't going to convince anybody differently. Now all you are doing is defending yourself from personal attacks and if you ask me you're kind of bringing it on yourself. If you want a bunch of people to agree with you, go to a Cardinals board, because this has crossed the line past a discussion and has reverted to a lot of people just attacking you personally and you them.

Come on people. Let's get some more. I know there are a few more hockey fans out there. BTW - Fantasy Hockey was the easiest way for me to learn and get into hockey. I joined a league 4 years ago and it was the first fantasy thing I've ever done. Through I've become a big hockey fan.

My unfanness for Marquis still stands. I'm more ticked about today than anything. Pitching a shutout against the worst offensive team and all of a sudden he gets confidence in himself and starts running up those belt high sinkers. It also boosted Tony's confidence enough that he'll probably reevaluate him when all I want to see is him in the pen.

Not to mention the significantly weaker lineup he's hitting in. He separated a rib around the All Star break and has played through it. He said if the other guys were healthy, he'd probably be sitting. Couple that with the absences of Reggie, Scott, and Larry to make the pitcher work harder and protect the lineup in general and he was due to suffer statistically this year. -
Why would the Cubs claim him? They are out of the race and he's a FA at the end of the season.

The majority of parks lack defining characteristics. Not everyone has a Wrigley/Fenway/Yankee Stadium. I've got to say both ball parks look cool. I like new Busch's field layout (no funky outfield wall) better. To be honest I like the new stadium and the proposed amenities, but I'm most excited about the overhangs and increased airflow. They designed it for maximum shade cover in the stands and more airflow. Current Busch is a sauna and nothing but dead air. I want to go with the Twins' because I like the skyline view a lot, but that's penalizing St. Louis for having a small and boring skyline. -
