  1. Excuse me, cartwheel.
  2. Plus that awesome tumble while running to celebrate Loveland' TD.
  3. There's definitely a double standard beyond just draft position when it comes to Caleb and McCarthy. Thus far, regardless of playing time, Caleb >>>> McCarthy yet, you wouldn't know it from just following the media.
  4. Probably because they beat the Lions in Detroit otherwise, there isn't much else to go on.
  5. Thus far, I know none of Poles draftees have been pro-bowlers. He'll have at least, one this season, Darnell Wright, who may be the best RT in football.
  6. It's work in progress for Caleb he's breaking bad habits and learning to trust the process. I'd guess the first read is there 60% or more of the time, it'll come.
  7. And this is happening while things have yet to click for Caleb.
  8. Run blocking, as a whole the line did very well, Benedet has some PB issues. Run game, he's a monster, PB he's going to need some help.
  9. Hell yeah it was, Loveland was just standing while two Saints defenders collided, he touched no one. Read somewhere, in a around-about-way the NFL acknowledged to the Bears it was a bad call.
  10. Did not appear their feet got tangled up, don't know how Wright, looking back for the ball, gets off the ball like that without a push.
  11. I was predicting the big leap from Caleb this season, I still believe it's going to happen unfortunately, it probably won't be this season. Until then we'll see incremental improvement, little by little, as has been said Caleb' learning to play on schedule, trust the process, getting away from the backyard football that's served him well his whole career prior to be drafted.
  12. Santos, healthy or not, needs to be gone, keeping him puts a big limitation of FG attempts. Not everyone of them is going to come from the 30 yard line and in.
  13. Raise you're hand if you knew that somehow the Bengals we're going to recover the on-side kick. Given they way the day had gone for the special teams, it was a slam dunk they we're going to recover. Although, as many have mentioned, it was an extremely fortunate bounce for the Bengals and the Bears really did nothing wrong. Just plain dumb luck. I'm also glad Loveland was able to take it to the house, if he had been tackled immediately after the catch, they we're looking at around a 52-47 yard FG, can't count on noodle leg from there.
  14. I watched it in real time, saw something happen to his left arm, didn't realized his arm, at the elbow, was literally rotated 180 degrees in the opposite direction. Read his elbow is dislocated, sounds as if he may been very fortunate to not suffer any ligament damage.
  15. Just curious did it appear Higgins pushed the defender away on those TD catches?
  16. Loveland' GW TD was the kind of nonsense BS we've seen happen to the Bears over and over. Nice the shoe was on the other foot for a horsefeathers change.
  17. I knew Caleb would give the Bears, at least, a chance at a GW FG. Man, what a nice contrast to what we've experienced from past Bears' QB's.
  18. They were holding Sweat and Dexter all horsefeathers day, wasn't even close, didn't face the pressure and with Chase/Higgins, of course, a big day.
  19. 44 points from Caleb today, that's not bad.* *According to CBS Sports.
  20. Ha, ha, no DPI to bail you out now Bengals and Flacco, suck it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  21. They're definitely going to get screwed by bad officiating AGAIN.
  22. Bears are moving the ball, they'll score some points in the second half. Flacco is way overdue for an INT.
  23. Definitely a failure by Jed in the off season, at the deadline, for the Cubs, teams were putting exorbitantly high prices on any pitcher of substance.
  24. Gausman isn't exactly a scrub, it's entirely possible he shuts down the Dodgers and the Blue Jays win.
