  1. Misiorowski take, take, take he will walk himself into trouble if you give him the chance. Generate some BB's, get him favorable counts, then nail him.
  2. Despite being 20-3, if this Illinois team shows up next game in Seattle they've got a real good chance. OSU is very talented, one thing better teams may be able to exploit is their secondary. They commit PI on every pass play, tugging on jerseys, holding, etc. they're not going to keep getting away with that against comparable opponents.
  3. Does it matter? If the bats come to life I'll take the Cubs chances to out slug the Brewers.
  4. If it's Shota, not surprised and probably won't work however, I Craig credit for not being scared and going with his guys. It's obvious Murphy doesn't trust anyone save for Peralta to start, guess he can start, what, 3 times in a potential 7 game series vs. Dodgers? Don't know what he'll do for the other 4 games.
  5. I'm not rooting for Dodgers. I also see a Dodgers team that's resembling and playing like 110 win team everyone thought of in the pre-season. And I understand the Brewers or Cubs have very slim chances against such a team.
  6. Re-watched the condensed game highlights, Suzuki K'ed twice on balls that were almost balls out of the pitchers' hand. horsefeathers, those were frustrating when they occurred and they're frustrating to re-watch. That said, I like where some of them bats are trending, Tucker' going to keep on, Busch and we've not seen the best from PCA - it's coming.
  7. I been watching the same thing, the randomness of baseball aside, no one has much of chance.
  8. Just getting to this point they're already playing with house money.
  9. Cubs totally playing house money, go with Ben Brown Saturday.
  10. Seiya is also an expert at the big K to the benefit of the opposition. That was ball out of Ashby’ hand.
  11. Yeah, that nonsense with the infield pop-up can't happen anymore. I don't think it will, Cubs are too good defensively they won't keep giving runs away.
  12. On one hand it would be cool to see the Cubs win this game, send it back to Milwaukee and possibly see the Brewers piss down their legs. On the other hand, the prospect of getting rolled by Dodgers in the NLCS is not appetizing. While acknowledging they're very good I also loathe the Dodgers, mainly out of jealousy and I just...hate them. I want to see Ohtani keep pitching because, while it may not happen this year, I'm certain his arm is going to explode again, is that bad?
  13. Meant Quintana has been bad lately, ERA over 5, small sample size but, he's not been great,
  14. Cubs win, Yankees eliminated, this is turning out to be a good night.
  15. Maybe, this is what they needed to start playing well, something finally went their way. One game is all it takes to get going. I think they'll be better, tomorrow a weight has been lifted off their shoulders.
  16. That may be true. Though, if you want to play with the big boys in college football you've got to recruit like them. The Hoosiers are going learn that lesson in Eugene.
  17. If they some how get it back to Milwaukee, I'd really like Craig to go with Ben Brown. By then they'll be playing with house money, Brewers just might fold.
  18. Yes, Stevenson was a complete dumbass idiot last time in D.C. Eberflus also shoulders some of the blame, he had a TO and just watched Tyrique put himself out of position being a horsefeathers child. Should have used the TO to fix that, ultimately, though I say thank Commanders for winning. Had the Bears won that game we might still be moaning about Eberflus.
  19. I think we going to see something big from Tucker tomorrow, I feel it's coming.
  20. What frustrates me most is continued struggles against bad pitching. Make no mistake Quintana is terrible and Anderson isn't much better yet, the Cubs couldn't touch them.
  21. You can book this, Dodgers are starting to look like the unbeatable machine everyone thought they might be.
  22. That game right there is why the Brewers won't go far beyond the NLDS. No dawg of bat anywhere on that team, they're big offensive move was Andrew Vaughn, rrrrrrrrright. At least, they didn't get swept, which is sweet.
  23. Far and away Matt, at least, Happ has a hit or two. Shaw couldn't hit the ball off a tee.
  24. Can almost always count on Happ to deliver a big K when the other team needs it, time and time again. Everyone in the ball park knew there was no chance of anything from Happ.
