  1. Completely agree, think that'll improve quite a bit next season, once Caleb gets the CP into the mid to high 60's , the numbers are going to explode.
  2. Add the receivers being in the correct place, it's not all on Caleb.
  3. Caleb Williams has 20 TD passes, the Browns offense has 23 TD's.
  4. Give me a horsefeathers break - https://www.yardbarker.com/nfl/articles/matt_lafleur_throws_shade_at_referees_over_their_treatment_of_micah_parsons/s1_127_43174663 Officiating was just fine when Mack was getting held on every down by Bulaga and it was never called.
  5. He does himself a disservice by speaking, comes off as an elite idiot.
  6. That's what has me so optimistic, Mitch and Justin were/are incapable in that area and it's not fixable. Caleb' problems aren't on the mental side and are all fixable. It's plainly visible in film studies, Caleb quickly going through progressions, manipulating defenders with his eyes, it's only a matter of time before the mechanical part comes along.
  7. Maybe, a little more consistency? Right now Love, Burrow, Stafford and other good QB don't have halves where they missed on nearly every throw. I understand it's not all on Caleb, the receivers also deserve a fair amount of criticism, often times Caleb makes the correct read and throw but, they're in the wrong place. Passing game is still very much in the developmental stage and it's looking as if it's going to take a whole season to develop.
  8. Got it. But Alabama beating OU, then IU, is just the kind of horsefeathers I could see happening.
  9. If they manage to past Oklahoma, I'd be very concerned about Alabama. What ever reasons they made into the bracket not withstanding, it's still a team with a plethora of NFL talent including a good QB.
  10. You can see some of this in the film reviews, I'd say it's 60-40 Caleb being inaccurate and the receivers not being in the right place. It's what has me very optimistic about Caleb taking a big leap next season because all of these issues are fixable. Many of which are just issues with familiarity and knowledge of Ben' offense which will be repaired with experience.
  11. I'm guilty of they didn't run he ball enough, most especially after seeing them start to dominate the Packers in the second half. Taking a step back, all you said is true, it really is shaping up to be a new era of good football from the Bears. Good HC and QB (yes, it's coming), something Bears fans have never seen.
  12. Find it ironic Packers fans are whining about Parsons being held. How often Mack was held by the Packers?
  13. Unlike every other recent Bears HC Ben is not a moron and will learn from his mistakes.
  14. Doesn't a bowl bid afford you more practices? Do not understand why any team would decline a bowl bid. Unless, teams are allowed more practices regardless.
  15. Honestly, I kind of look at the Bears like Indiana, this season' success came out of left field, no expecting anything. And, like Indiana last season, they're not quite there but, they're building towards something very special. They'll fix the defense in the off season and things will take off.
  16. There's no need for any trickery vs. Cleveland either, I don't care how good Myles Garrett is, Bears OL is elite and will pound the Browns into sand. Just be patient and stick with it and it'll open up shots downfield as well.
  17. Trying to be too clever, after review, he'll know he doesn't have to be, just run it down their throats.
  18. Agree completely. After the second half I'm pretty convinced they can man handle the Packers, Ben' not stupid, he'll see that and learn from his mistakes.
  19. Yeah, I think the Bears will pound them into submission, as they started to do in the second half, from the start next time.
  20. horsefeathers, the Bears dominated the second half, it's only a matter of time.
  21. Almost certain there's been one. I really don't get this double standard when it comes to Bears' QB's and roughing calls.
  22. I would add a completely BS DPI, Love, under pressure, will do his throwing the ball up for grabs. GB receiver will push off the Bears DB and/or trip over him leading to a DPI. Didn't read the previous message, I see you added the DPI's.
  23. Turns out Loveland' pretty good, think many of us who follow Big Ten football knew he was good, slowed up early by injury and missing camp. Think Burden can play a little as well.
  24. So will Luther Burden yes, Odunze being out is bad thing but, it's not like the Bears are without weapons.
  25. Did the same thing vs. the Bears in Chicago last year, appeared Jaylon Johnson was going to pick it off until he tripped over the receiver' feet. As you said it's intentional, appears to be a calculated risk, looking for a DPI or the receiver makes a contested catch. I'd be okay with the Bears forcing several of these types of throws on Sunday, at least one of them will get picked off.
