  1. Bears This season ends baseball for me. As long as the Brewers don’t win, I don’t care Should they make WS, the Astros or Red Sox will kick the horsefeathers of them.
  2. Seriously, has it ever happened for the Cubs? Mark Grace Nor Grace
  3. Addison Russell. Russell has some big hits in October but his numbers are down like the rest I'm talking Tim Flannery bad, don't believe Russell and Schwarber fall into that category.
  4. Sit the horsefeathers down, you're pitcher been getting all sorts of favorable calls.
  5. We should have put Murphy in a Mets uniform tonight. Or tricked him into thinking he was playing against the Cubs and not for the Cubs. Seriously, has it ever happened for the Cubs?
  6. When was the last time some schmo Cub hitter had a great playoff, they've certainly been victimized by garbage hitters looking like Babe Ruth.
  7. What is so, horsefeathering hard to figure out about a hitter friendly umpire, pitcher on 3 days rest, maybe take a few pitches? I mean do you to be Chili Davis or something?
  8. Why do NL pitchers ever throw Baez a hittable fastball?
  9. got to see how the offense looks first If I'm a Cub hitter and some of those pitches that were balls in the top of the first all of sudden become strikes I'm all over the umpire. The least one can ask of any umpire is consistency. And there you go the first horsefeathering pitch.
  10. got to see how the offense looks first If I'm a Cub hitter and some of those pitches that were balls in the top of the first all of sudden become strikes I'm all over the umpire. The least one can ask of any umpire is consistency.
  11. Hope the Cubs are paying attention - take, take, take - unless its down the middle of the plate it's not a strike
  12. MLB Tonight crew was doing the same I felt. Kyle Freeland is Madbum, David Dahl is the most dangerous 7th hitter ever, etc etc. Irritating, maybe not surprising given the Cubs looked pathetic yesterday.
  13. Of course I'm bias but, does it sound as if the ESPN staff is creaming in their pants for the Rockies?
  14. that's not how regression to the mean works I’ll allow it.gif Perhaps, saying the hitters who got collectivey hot will go collectively cold is a bit much, I agree. By the way how does regression to the mean work?
  15. Should the Cubs manage to win perhaps, playing the Brewers again isn't the worst outcome. Yelich' hitting .400, .536, .880, 1.416 over the last 28 games, .370, .508, .804, 1.313, maybe he's that good however, its more probable there's going to be a large regression to the mean. Case in point, Daniel Murphy, 2015, NLCS, hottest hitter in history goes 3 - 20 in the WS. Haven't looked it up because Yelich really stands out but, I suspect there's other Brewer hitters due for a regression to the mean as well. It's going to happen at some point. Given the Cubs on again, off again offense there's also a chance it'll click for a series of course, that means it'll probably go back into the tank for the NLCS.
  16. Keeping up with the theme of 2018 season I expect a 11-2 Cubs win or a = 2> - 1 Cubs loss with Bote getting their first hit in the 6th.
  17. im actually not meaning to criticize the cubs because 95 wins is like ... what can you even say? I would have taken that with a healthy team. It's just the constant "well here's the thing, the cubs are good and the brewers are actually bad. ok they're not bad but they aren't good. ok they're good now but they're not real good and we're better. ok actually now we got 2 hit at home and lost the division OK NOW THEY"RE BETTER THAN WE ARE SORRY GUYS" that's obnoxious and wrong. i mean a pretty good player became prime barry bonds for the past month what the hell can we do Happens all the time in baseball, mistake is counting on it to happen again, Yelich' a very good baseball player. However, expecting him to keep up this recent pace is far fetched. Maybe he is this good but, there's a better chance he's not.
  18. that's super good looking at 2019, especially if they sign harper or machado. unfortunately it does us no good right now despite the fact that everyone said the same horsefeathers last year (oh we'll just sign a starter and a bullpen guy and then we'll get heyward fixed and we're all good.) Bryant didn't need any fixing ala Heyward, he was also on his way to a damn good season until he got hit in the head.
  19. For one Kris Bryant has been a shadow of himself, still playing hurt, that alone made a big difference. As Brewer fan you want to count on that happening again along with Cain and Aguilar playing out of their minds next season? Both will regress next season.
  20. it's pretty clear the brewers are never losing again They’re going on a 2007 Rockies run. And like Colorado they'll get stomped in the WS.
  21. it's pretty clear the brewers are never losing again Let have their fun, should they make the WS don't think they'll have much of a chance against the AL.
  22. Don't have a chance in hell tomorrow Dodgers' pitching >>>>>>> Brewers pitching along with the Cubs going in their patented offensive slide.
  23. Have we not seen this trend all season - come off a series scoring quite a few run only to go into an offensive funk?
