  1. On the plus side I'd expect the White Sox will get to Daives and the poor Arizona bullpen for several runs. The Diamondback poor pitching pixie dust only seems to work on the Cubs, the question is - will the White Sox be able to keep them off scoreboard enough to win?
  2. It was a conscience effort on his part to not utilize all the resources at his disposal. As I said either he is dumb as a box of rocks or he knew the roster was at least one more draft away and wanted to see if Fields worked out. Meaning , if Fields bombed he'd have the draft position to pick his QB and add another high impact players.
  3. In addition to all of Fields deficiencies I think cap it off with a lack of confidence, I don't believe he misses every read. I do think he no longer has confidence in anything, when he's tried, every outcome has been bad. It's all blown up in his face, it must be the some of the explanation for why he just holds the ball when receivers are open. The only thing the coaches can is keep giving him the opportunity, that doesn't mean running the ball 40+ times.
  4. Beyond a doubt, rather than attempt to work to Fields strengths, give him something, anything, it's going to be meathead run after meathead run. Really, even if they manage to win I could still envision a cascade of boos if all they do is run the ball.
  5. No, regardless of who is playing, their passive manner, just setting back letting offenses do whatever they wish, who's in or out doesn't make a difference.
  6. For you defensive types out there what's the point of Eberflus playing a soft zone with a DL that can't even breath on, let alone touch a QB?
  7. Well, you know, the city of brotherly love, Liberty Bell and all that, he's probably taking a daily jog to Museum of Art with all the kids.
  8. One thing I'd like to see more snaps for "athletic freak" Gervon Dexter and Zacch Pickens, they probably both suck. But, might as well give them a shot at continuing to offer evidence that Poles is a poor at the draft.
  9. Just saw some tape of Wright handling Karlfkis pretty well, of course, I noticed Fields just hopping around and getting sacked. There's no question the OL, as banged up as it is, has still managed to provide better pass blocking and, despite Getsy' fucked up scheme, receivers are open. Fields simply refuses to throw the ball
  10. Has Miami lost any fluke ones? Seems all they do is win one run games, about time things even out.
  11. Should this happen I'd be shocked, if assuming its Poles, isn't hyper aggressive in FA and spends nearly every penny of their salary cap space.
  12. I to wanted Fields to succeed, fact is he's highly flawed, the Bears didn't create his flaws, they were just unable to maximize his strengths. Thing I don't get about Fields is it appears he bites on literally everything, every fake by a DB works, I'm certain he sees it on film. He's not stupid, read somewhere he aced all the pre-draft written tests but, the game is too fast for him and fools him all the time.
  13. Success has to be an extremely low bar, at this point, I'll take people lining up properly, no false starts,. Things like Fields hitting open receivers and them catching the ball might be too much.
  14. Breaking with their dumb ass tradition might actually confirm their "anger" and "concerns" BS.
  15. Win or lose if same hot mess we've seen continues, I would think someone Getsy, Eberflus is going be out of job next Monday.
  16. You're correct, more of an over reaction on my part, he's not good and will probably never be a GM again.
  17. The real kick in the balls is going to be after the Bears fire Poles, he'll learn from his plethora of mistakes and, go on be a successful GM. While football gut Warren hires the next horsefeathers up, cluster horsefeathers, whatever.
  18. Queue the "concerned" and "upset" McCaskey' articles etc.
  19. The most galling aspect of this all is the inability of anyone - Poles, Eberflus, et. al -. to recognize Getsy is not putting Fields in a position to succeed. That's the most you can ask of any coach just design, call plays, etc. that play to my strengths and what I do best, i.e., a position to succeed. This alone is grounds enough to fire Poles, Eberflus, the whole lot.
  20. Poles had a plethora of resources at his disposal and he managed to slightly improve the roster. I know they've looked and played terrible but, the roster is improved. Which leaves me two conclusions either Poles is a really bad GM or he decided to basically punt on 2023 with an eye towards really being aggressive in 2024.
  21. Eberflus is a completely dickless pussy but, one thing he can do is call out the NFL officiating for continuing to let his QB take cheap shots. horsefeathers the fines, show some balls and stick up for your QB.
  22. That's going to happen when your QB just hops around and won't throw the ball, how many of those 13 sacks are because of poor protection? 3-4? Fields might be the easiest QB to sack in the history of the NFL.
  23. Eberflus, et. al. should be fired this instance, being bad is one thing but, no semblance of competence or even the remotest hint. That's coaching, true this roster is bad but, there is some talent, an average NFL coaching staff would do better.
  24. DJ Moore has no claim to improper utilization, they went to him, an absolute perfect pass and POS dropped it.
  25. No more punts, just keep taking shots downfield, eventually one will caught or draw a PI.
