  1. Could be. Looked bad. Feel bad for Eddie Jackson however, we all know he probably was not going to be part of the next good Bears team. Unfortunately, gets the process started a little early for him.
  2. Any team with some resemblance of a professional defense would have had at least on pick already. Jets with a good defense and all but, not the OB nor the offense to survive and advance in the playoffs. If I were a Jets fan, I wouldn't take too much from this game, it's a false positive.
  3. No, they had some dude last season who appeared not to know that you're supposed to cover receivers. Forgot his name but, far worse than Vildor.
  4. White is terrible, wouldn't be all that surprising if he throws an INT at some point.
  5. Guess they HAD to call a blatantly obvious PI there, color me shocked.
  6. I'm convinced NFL officiating is in on the Bears tank, there are 31 other teams were that's an automatic PI call.
  7. Top 2, I'm more optimistic about other teams overpaying for a QB. If that happens (unless Carter or Anderson is on the board), I take best offensive player available (Johnson) or OT. If the Bears draft 3-5, I'm likely going BPA unless some team makes a great offer I could see this - address D with FA, trade down go offense - happening, appears to be the best approach and the fastest towards building a competitive team.
  8. Fairly certain Illini will take care of business vs. Northwestern do not know about Purdue. Purdue is more than capable of losing to Indiana, I'm torn. On one hand it would be great if the Illini end up winning the West on the other hand, don't really want to watch them lose to Michigan again. I'm certain the Illini will manage to hang in and then get fucked over with some BS officiating. Better they go to a decent bowl while Purdue loses by 30+ to Michigan.
  9. I appreciate the work but wow I hope he’s wrong. That would be a major bummer of an offseason. It's probably not as far off as we'd like, look at last off season all the smoke and noise around Carlos Correa. Who did they end up with? Andrelton Simmons - all of the above acquisitions are in the same mode. That is mediocre to bad players on the cheap. Well, I guess Abreu does not fall into the category of mediocre to bad, he's the outlier, the remainder of them certainly qualify.
  10. If there ever was a game to get well and look good for Wilson it certainly would be against this Bears defense. Must be a move not to lose the locker room for, I'm certain Wilson was geeked about facing the Bears, what QB wouldn't be?
  11. I have no idea how to feel about this. Like there's clearly no reason to rush him. But they can't just hold him out if he's healthy. There still seems to be some uncertainty if there's a real joint injury or more of a banged up scenario. There's no way he'll be completely healed and healthy, Jets pass rush is going to spend the day in Bears backfield, absolutely no reason to play him and expose his shoulder to further injury.
  12. Aaron Rodgers. That's exactly who I had in mind while posting.
  13. Lol suck it Zach Wilson In the world of sports, I think it's OK to be an alienating prick if you're playing well but, that combination doesn't work when the playing side of it is bad.
  14. If Siemian starts this Sunday will not surprise me at all if he draws as many roughing the passer calls as Fields has all season. He's not as mobile, he's going to hit on nearly every passing play (if I were him, I'd seriously consider padding up like a box lacrosse or hockey goalie) and, he'll treated more as a traditional drop back passer.
  15. Detroit has some semblance of a pass rush. We don't. In that case, we're toast. I don't know man, maybe we pull a Patriots-type game on one team and win. I'm just watching the Fields drives now, and assuming we don't stop the other team's O. It's pretty much been the case since we traded away Quinn/Roquan. Given that, you're probably right and we lose out. Well 3-14 would certainly guarantee a top 5 pick, most likely top 3. Top 3 probably means take your pick of the top defensive players - Anderson, Carter, Murphy, etc.
  16. Could you post a link of it? I'd like to see that play the way you are describing it Does not appear it would have been behind Mooney, appears it would have hit him closer to in stride than anything, too bad, may have gone for some major yardage.
  17. Schrodinger's QB Very good, Heisenberg QB Uncertainty is applicable as well.
  18. I'd consider letting him sit until January 1, let Siemian and Peterman get obliterated in the cold, I know cruel, but they're expendable. Also believe Eberflus should really tear into Getsy for stupidity in continuing to put already injured QB in harm's way. For horsefeathers's sake Eberflus put the NFL officiating on the spot, horsefeathers the fines, there should have been several flags thrown on the Bears' last offensive series. horsefeathering Mariotta trips over his own feet and that draws a flag, really?
  19. The cheap shot to head certainly didn't help, how can Eberflus just not go off and get in the officials' face? The horsefeathering clowns somehow manage to call a low hit roughing the passer yet keep the flags in the pockets on some obvious late QB hits.
  20. Is that a skill a coach has? lobbying officials is a skill yes This nonsense with the bad one-way officiating is getting out of hand, nearly every game these clowns are missing obvious calls. Doesn't take away from the terrible play calling - which is extraordinarily limited by a total and complete inability to pass block.
  21. That means something else is left open, of course, have to take advantage of what's left open.
  22. Shocking, the officials got it right, positively shocking, X-Mas in November.
  23. Requisite horsefeathers over the Bears call in queue.
  24. He's got a point, I know this happens all time in the NFL but, at least there's an attempt of subtlety, that was blatantly clear, #18 was never running a route, his sole purpose was to pick off as many defenders as possible.
  25. Lot of illini fans saying Michigan should have gotten flagged for a pick on that 4th down and looking at the replays they may be right. I’ll take the W. Looked ugly, illini are the second team in the last 2 seasons to physically dominate both Michigan lines, the other being Georgia. Illinois is legit, don’t care what their record says. Did not expect that close of game, thought Michigan was going to win quite handily nevertheless, Illini will roll over Northwestern next week to finish a very good 8-4. Would have been great to see the Illini in the Big Ten Championship vs. Michigan or OSU, they'd be far more competitive than Purdue. Michigan or OSU is going to score 50+ on Purdue in what's going to be a joke of a football game.
