  1. The most galling aspect of this all is the inability of anyone - Poles, Eberflus, et. al -. to recognize Getsy is not putting Fields in a position to succeed. That's the most you can ask of any coach just design, call plays, etc. that play to my strengths and what I do best, i.e., a position to succeed. This alone is grounds enough to fire Poles, Eberflus, the whole lot.
  2. Poles had a plethora of resources at his disposal and he managed to slightly improve the roster. I know they've looked and played terrible but, the roster is improved. Which leaves me two conclusions either Poles is a really bad GM or he decided to basically punt on 2023 with an eye towards really being aggressive in 2024.
  3. Eberflus is a completely dickless pussy but, one thing he can do is call out the NFL officiating for continuing to let his QB take cheap shots. horsefeathers the fines, show some balls and stick up for your QB.
  4. That's going to happen when your QB just hops around and won't throw the ball, how many of those 13 sacks are because of poor protection? 3-4? Fields might be the easiest QB to sack in the history of the NFL.
  5. Eberflus, et. al. should be fired this instance, being bad is one thing but, no semblance of competence or even the remotest hint. That's coaching, true this roster is bad but, there is some talent, an average NFL coaching staff would do better.
  6. DJ Moore has no claim to improper utilization, they went to him, an absolute perfect pass and POS dropped it.
  7. No more punts, just keep taking shots downfield, eventually one will caught or draw a PI.
  8. Besides death and taxes, there's another sure thing in life, if the McCaskey' did the hiring it's a total cluster horsefeathers.
  9. If starting over means the Bears are sold then yes, if means the McCaskey' are back to finding a GM. etc., what's the point?
  10. Rather than being aggressive and give your young QB horsefeathers anything positive, I'm calling run-ville for 2nd half, you can count on it.
  11. Getsy is a terrible coach, such coaches do things like over-correct, for example, trying to make Fields into something he is not is an over-correction. So, I fully expect an over-correction today, a massive amount of running. Including too many designed runs for Fields, maybe, this will help keep the score respectable but, it won't show any signs of progress.
  12. Think there's an excellent chance the Marlins lose tonight, Woodruff has dominated them, Diamondbacks were postponed, Pirates-Reds: bad pitcher vs. bad picther, still wouldn't be shocked if the Pirates win. Cubs take care of business, good things will happen.
  13. Flexen' really bad, Rockies have one win in his last five starts, which, of course, was against the Cubs. All the Cubs need to do is clobber the guys the whole league has been pounding and they'll be okay.
  14. He's probably not, more than likely just another Bears GM failure, it really is beyond comprehension how the McCaskey' who, regardless of the task, always get it wrong, it's uncanny.
  15. Swanson should be pushed further down, he's pretty much an automatic out in clutch situations. Put him in a place where's he's less likely to come up in such situations.
  16. The Bears won't, of course win, but, I'm strangely optimistic we'll see some good things out of Fields, a lot less of the garbage we've seen in weeks 1 and 2.
  17. Based upon what we've thus far seen from Young maybe, it's true that Poles was not enamored of any of the QB prospects and decided to roll the dice with Fields. Had he been sold, I don't believe he would have hesitated to trade Fields and take his QB.
  18. Doubt anything positive will come of it nevertheless, aren't good things allowed to happen for the Bears? Since the Bears are the current laughing stock of the NFL must, every horsefeathers outcome be bad?
  19. I watched some of his play from the 2021 Sugar Bowl, I know plenty here, including me, are down of Fields. However, I didn't see any of the garbage we've seen to open the season in that game. Left foot back, quick drops, rip it, even, gasp, anticipation throws, college defenses are for horsefeathers nevertheless, if that Fields shows up, it'll be for the better.
  20. That's not his job, Getsy should know how to use the things he does best. Really, Getsy should be terminated this instance. Also, sure would help if Garret Wilson, JSN and Paris Johnson Jr. hell, Chris Olave as well, came with him.
  21. This constant talk of Fields and footwork has me focusing, probably too much, on this aspect of quarterbacking. On the surface, it appears Bagent' footwork and timing are superior to Fields. Although, once Bagent' in a real NFL game, I do not know how that translates. But, these QB gurus keep harping on this part of Fields' game.
  22. They would be dumb enough to not realize the cover-up will hit just as hard the original crime, wouldn't they?
  23. I don't blame for him basically saying horsefeathers you to Getsy for not only trying to turn me into something I'm not but, in the process, making me look really bad.
  24. If true, I don't blame the Bears for not wanting say anything, the press is taking them to task because of their silence. Think the press will feel like a bunch of dickheads when they find out? Probably not.
  25. He shot the Archduke Ferdinand, JFK and RFK.
