    33 - 13 in 1 run games is flat luck, I don't think there's any other explanation. Their last in the NL runs scored, bottom half in HR, OBP and OPS, just flat out luck. They'll get swept by the Brewers.

    Given the Cubs playoff hopes are slim and none, think Ross will let the kids play? PCA in CF, Morel at 3B? Or, are going to see more of his Dusty Baker-ish devotion to playing the veterans who suck.

    Will the Bears get booed right out the tunnel? There's a very good chance, in any case, the cascade of boos will really ramp up after they go three and out on their first series consisting of three runs. I do believe if Justin has any chance at all it's not with Getsy as the OC so, I'm torn between wanting see anything positive or a horsefeathers show that gets him fired.

    He's just as ****** as Fields, although, I think Fields is a little more accurate, is definitely faster and may have a stronger arm.

    After the Bears lose this game with yet another pathetic display of offense. I'm thinking Getsy' gone on Monday, wouldn't shock me one bit if whomever takes over has more success by simply realizing they have to target Moore 10-15 times a game.

    Fortunately, this isn't a Trubisky or Fields situation, no major, basically, incorrect-able flaws.

    Think he's the real deal, some of the other youngsters were impressive as well including Marcel Marcel. Granted it's preseason and the Blues were short-handed nevertheless, Bedard is good.

    Looking at next season anyone see closer potential for Little? Made the Braves look helpless with several nasty sweepers or sliders, in addition to a 95-98 MPH FB.

    Yeah, Fields and the Bears are terrible, with this take, he searching for extra negative horsefeathers, what nonsense. They're bad enough without him making up stuff.

    I don't know how the Bears can get out from under this whole they ruin QB's dialog. True, lately, they've drafted flawed QB's and been unable to coach to their strengths or around the flaws. Lucas said it himself, if Mitch had gone to the Chiefs things would have been improved however, because of his deficiencies, his ascendancy would have been capped. The Bears didn't create the flaws of Mitch or Justin, they didn't coach those things into either guy.

    Never going to happen, their smoke and mirrors shtick will not carry on to the playoffs.

    Now, there's literally nothing for the Braves to play for, they've clinched the top seed. Think there's still a real good chance the Cubs leave Atlanta a game up on the Marlins.

    Honestly, the Marlins lineup is...not good. It's an example of the oftentimes weirdness/randomness of baseball as to why they have a winning record.

    Didn't Jacque Jones miss a fly ball in Houston? Think I remember Dusty Baker saying something about the ball being too high or some other nonsense as to why Jones missed the ball.
