Why this doubting the Colts and the unbelievable love for the Chargers here? You know, that 7-4 team? Sorry, but the Colts far outclass the Chargers. Not even close. LT's great, and Brees is solid, but the Chargers just can't keep up. In terms of the toughest games for the Colts, I'd say they are past -- they were Cincinnati and Pittsuburgh. For the games left, it's Seattle and maybe Jacksonville. The Seahawks are a good team. Jacksonville, at home, is a tough team, though with Leftwich out that makes things interesting.

The Colts have Tennessee, at Jacksonville, San Diego, at Seattle and Arizona left to play. They won't lose at home, in the dome. So that leaves Jacksonville and Seattle to stop them.

That 7-4 Chargers team that lost:

Opening day in Dallas without Antonio Gates by 4.

20-17 in Denver.

24-22 to Pittsburgh in SD

By 3 to Philly on a very fluke special teams play.

Chargers to me should be 9-2 (the Dallas and Philly games as being ones they should have won) and are talented enough on BOTH sides of the ball to possibly beat the Colts.

I think Cincy and Seattle pose moderate threats to them, but I think it will happen.
Do you mean San Diego, or Jacksonville? They've already played Cincy.

I think that the Chargers showed everyone how you slow a great offense with a QB that can't move...put pressure on him. Yeah, easier said then done but that's how you beat them. I think the same can be done against USC and if Texas can devise a defensive scheme that can put pressure on USC's QB I think they will win.

The USC-ASU game was an example of throwing Leinart off (of course, he was supposedly concussed after the late hit during that game).

Oy. I was right about the Chargers. But I didn't see that humiliating loss to the Fins.

Oy.
