White Sox buy out Frank Thomas for $3.5 million

He is now a free agent and probably won't be back with the team, as if this shocked anyone.

 

If he is a White Sox member next year, it'll be for a lot less than the $10 million he made this past year.

He's had foot and ankle problems the past two years. Surgeries that didn't take, etc.

 

My bet is that the Sox sign him for $4 million plus incentives based on plate appearances.
