Has Heinrich been reevaluated?

Skiles said on ESPN 1000 that Hinrich has a minor sprained ankle and he is between questionable and probable for the Nets game.

They had a quote from Heinrich on the Score where he said he's gonna test it out and that he wants to get out there for Saturday's game.

He said that he's had worse sprains in that same ankle before. That this one turned out to be a lot more minor than orginally thought.

Makes the long time between games an advantage

Bulls lead the Nets after one, 24-20.

Starters tonight for the Bulls:

Duhon

Hinrich (yes he is playing)

Nocioni

Songaila

Chandler

For the Nets:

Jason Kidd

Vince Carter

Richard Jefferson

Jason Collins

Nenad Krstic

Gordon leads the team right now with nine points as he reeled off a bunch of them at the end of the quarter. Sweetney has six and Duhon has five.

Go Bulls!

Bulls 46 Nets 46 at the break. Chicago shooting 45 percent from the field led by Ben Gordon who has 18 points already, and he hasn't even played the 4th quarter yet! Sweetney also has 10 for the Bulls.

Ben misses the FT and Chandler fouls out on a very, very costly foul.

that was bad transition defense.

we'll see what happens here, but I had a nagging feeling that the Nets were going to get them. They just seem to have our number.

Terrible, terrible foul by Tyson there. That was reprehensible, fouling anyone going for a game-tying shot.

Bulls lose 100-99. Sterling efforts by Hinrich (26 pts) and Gordon (22) flushed down the toilet thanks to a stinkbomb by Tyson (1 pt, 9 rebs, 6 fouls).

Ugghhh. Hope we can even hang with the Spurs at this point.

painful loss to say the least. Ben played a great game besides that missed FT. ugh...

Look at it this way: through 2 games we are 1 ahead of last years pace!

we will be through three too. All we needed was one rebound too. Oh well its early.

The rebounding is horrible right now. How many offensive rebounds have they given up already in 2 games?

34. They had this problem at times last year too, hopefully they can correct it very soon.

unfortunately, i think were going to have to get used to it. Chandler always gets in foul trouble early and there isn't anyone on our team that is close to his size. Were going to be outrebounded in a lot of games this year...

I think they are missing Antonio Davis.

Gordon is heating up and the Bulls charge back from a 15-point deficit to trail by just 1 after 3 quarters.

What the heck? Supposedly while one ref was talking to two players, another one handed the ball to San Antonio to inbound the ball. It resulted in a Kirk foul.

Spurs with a hot start to the 3rd quarter.

Gordon got a head start on the 4th quarter near the end of the 3rd, but hasn't picked it up yet in the 4th. Come on Bulls!
