UT fans, any truth to the rumor that Fulmer is taking over the playcalling role for the rest of the season?

Not a fan, but yes. Offensive coordinator quit/resigned/stepped down but will stay on staff through end of season. Fullmer to call plays

You forgot to add that KU has a semi-realistic chance to break it's 36-year-long losing streak to Nebraska.

Sorry, don't knowhow I missed that one

Sort of true. Fulmer and the entire offensive staff will share playcalling duties. Sounds like a recipe for disaster. Tennessee's offense is just not good enough to keep up with ND's.

GO IRISH!

no need for sarcasm.

Vol fans better hope the rumor that David Cutcliffe is returning is true. That offense is in disarray and I don't think that Phil is the man to fix it. He needs help in a big way.

I wasn't being sarcastic. I was actually apologizing

I also heard a rumor that Cutcliffe has been talking to Fulmer regarding ND. Of course this had better just be a rumor or else...

This had better be just a rumor, because if not for some medical problems Cutcliffe would still be ND's offensive coordinator. Not that I am complaning because Weis has proven himself worthy of playcalling himself.

I was big time worried about the UT game earlier in the season and had they beaten SC I would still be worried. But right now the Vols seem like a team searching for an identity. If they can't score points on the Gamecocks or Tide, then they probably won't be able to score enough to overcome ND's stout offense. I think the Irish win this one by double digits.

Huge game at Colorado for Mizzou. Baylor at home and a trip to K-State afterwards, while Colorado travels to Iowa State and comes home to Nebraska. Tying Colorado and holding the tiebreaker over them would be monumentous. Hopefully good Brad Smith shows up this week.

I can't wait for this game. I expect a classic. Of course lately those have become commonplace for Miami-VT.

Right. That and PSU vs. WISC are pretty much conference title games. ACC has a title game though this year, right?

Yes. It will probably be the winner of this game vs. FSU

I wouldn't say UCLA vs. Arizona in Tucson is a mismatch. I mean, outside of Oregon State, what Pac 10 game has UCLA actually blown out its opponent? As you can tell, I'm highly nervous of any game at this point and time.

I can't stress enough how important this game is. They're incredibly pissed with how they played and there's a huge difference between 7-4 and 6-5. Hopefully the team can follow up their worst week of practices filled with media attention that they just weren't mentally prepared for with a solid week of practice in obscurity. An outlet will be needed for the anger and hopefully they take it out on Iowa.

Mizzou is facing another top 5 ranked rush defense -- their third in three weeks. Let's hope it is like the Nebraska game. If it turns out like the Kansas game, lets hope Pinkel actually adjusts. I want to see more Woods/Temple in the backfield and more use of the TEs in the passing game. This is one of the biggest games in Mizzou history IMHO.

Fortunately they aren't as stingy in the passing game as kU and Nebraska are. Smith needs to be accurate for us to win. We aren't winning in Boulder with him completing 33% or whatever pathetic percentage it was against kU. His problem all year has been overthrowing deep balls. Hopefully the air out there helps, or something. This is definitely the defining game of the season.

Yeah, but the receivers need to complete routes too. I was at kU last weekend (I don't know if you were or not), and there were two times that WRs stopped on a deep ball that was catchable. Once would've put us inside the 20, another would've been a touchdown. We need to come out as pumped as we did against NU, Boulder isn't an easy place to play.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves... PSU, even if they win, has to travel to East Lansing to face the Spartans. Their laid egg against Northwestern notwithstanding, they've proven in the games against ND, Michigan and Ohio State that they are at least competitive with good teams.

UNC vs BC is not a mismatch. Bunting will have his kids ready.

Wow. Didn't see myself ever saying this regarding CFB but...I agree with you :D
