Matt Leinart is 10/23 with 113 yards completed; USC has 9 penalties in the first half (all on offense) and 2/10 on 3rd down.

I want the Bears to draft Jesse Ainsworth just so he can kick the ball out of the back of the endzone on every kickoffs. I hate Doug Brien.

USC starts the second half at their own 20 and get a first down quickly for 12 yards.

ASU's starting QB Sam Keller just got an injection on his shoulder, has a lot of medical guys around him and is questionable.

LenDale White rushes for a touchdown and Arizona State is now up 21-10 with 12:41 left in the 3rd quarter. :( USC drove down the field with ease there.

Looks like USC will get it's chance to be the first to beat USC. Sigh. :(

Meant UCLA.

Not much confidence in ND or Cal then.

Wow, Florida's making a game of it. 31-24 and they're about to get the ball back.

Not really, it's still 31-3.

Poor Tyrone Prothro. Plays a heck of a game, mishandles a TD pass and now is getting taken off in a stretcher, I think it's his ankle/leg.
Yea, horrible looking injury, his ankle just snapped. Why was he still in the game?

Yikes, Alabama is beating Flordia 31-3 in the 3rd quarter.

Bama is better than I expected this year, and Brody Croyle is largely responsible for that.

Unfortunately, Tyrone Prothro, their second receiver just suffered a very gruesome broken left leg. You may see it on SportCenter tonight unless they choose not to show it out of respect. As soon as the CBS commentator saw the closeup of the play he said "Oh no." I don't think the bones broke the skin, but his ankle snapped and his foot was almost touching his shin. I would think that this could be a career ending injury.

Bama has depth at WR...This won't be a huge setback, and I think they may break the top 10 this week.

why isn't it on tv? I'm watching the end of the texas blowout.

Seriously, I already left this debacle, I want to see UM-MSU!

Since you're dying to know, my thoughts on the Texas slaughter. Mizzou's defense is awful awful awful, and Smith threw away their opportunity with 3 turnovers early. I also lost a lot of respect for Texas. Between their fans booing the refs mercilessly at the half, assistant coaches inciting the fans, and going for a TD on 4th down up 24 points in the 4th quarter, I'm hoping that OU makes it 6 straight.

Agreed. We could've had a huge lead in the 1st if we hang on to the football. Because not including the short fields, our defense played good in that first quarter, and our offense had no problem moving the ball when they weren't turning it over. And of course, not recovering 1 of Vince Young's 4 fumbles. But I guess that's the difference between a great team and a bad team.
