What happened?

 

Slow chopper to Neifi. Nomar kinda cut him off, no throw to first. Player broke off second on contact and was now hung up off third toward home. Neifi to Barrett, who this time actually ran the runner back to third... then threw a bad high ball to Nomar who could sweep a tag on the slide back to the bag.

Endless rundown drills are in order for Barrett

 

The mind BOGGLES at Barrett and run-down plays.

 

Though that 2-unassisted caught stealing on Adam Everett last year was sweet.

No kidding. I had the tv on mute, looked up and SAW THAT IT WAS HIM and thought "not THAT GUY again!"

Yes, and the irony is amazing. I bet Walker is at fault and missed a sign there, since it can't be Dusty's bad decisions that hurt the Cubs or anything.

So I can't get the game on TV here, and I just now decided to get on the computer and pop up gameday...and I see walker sacrificing, and I just knew the uproar that would create in here. And rightly so.

Agreed. I can't see why people rip on Dusty, how many years had it been since we had back-to-back winning seasons before Dusty got here?[/recalling the past]
