Carlos Zambrano (13-5, 3.18) is good, Eric Milton (7-14, 6.63) is bad. Neither has done well against the opposing team this year, though.

But remember to tune into WDXI to catch game one of the Southern League Championship Series.

Will Baker sabotage Z the way he sabotaged Maddux with another asinine lineup?

Magic 8 Ball says "Definitely"

Soto

Lee

Walker

Perez

Macias

Hairston

Patterson

Burnitz

Sounds about right.

I'll never root against the Cubs, but I wouldn't be too upset if they lost 3 or 4 in a row, just to eliminate that small amount of hope that I have left.

ditto. sometimes i think my absurd optimism when it comes to the cubs will end up leading to my demise.

I'll go out on a limb and say that Dusty puts out a completely rational lineup tonight:

1. Hairston

2. Walker

3. Lee

4. Nomar

5. Burnitz

6. Barrett

7. Perez

8. Murton

Okay, not completely rational, but it's Dusty we're talking about here...

Switch Murton and Neifi and that's the lineup.

LOL, Neifi bats 2nd one day and 8th the next? Has any other manager in baseball done that to any player this year? Wow Dusty is brainless.

Yeah, c'mon Bruce! You get it straight from the horse's mouth, I have to wait for Yahoo Sports to post it.

Wow, this is one of the few intelligent lineups Dusty has put out there all season. Too bad it's a day late and a dollar shot. But given the available personnel, this is the exact lineup I'd send out there tonight. I think this is likely one of the few times I've ever said that about a Dusty lineup.

We should be livid that Baker put a 50 RBI hitter in the #8 spot! What is he thinking?
