Boy, the more he hits like this, the more I want to give him another year.

My head tells me we don't want him back but watching him hit lately - I don't know.

Z don't need no stinkin' Jose Macias batting for him!!

Of course not. He's "only" thrown 108 pitches thus far. He's good for a few more innings in a meaningless game...right?!?

I'm cool with taking him out - I just think he is probably a better hitter than the guy who would probably have pinch hit for him.

Not according to Dustylogic™, nobody is better than the Mighty Macias.

BTW, Nomahhh~!

I wasn't aware Dusty had that stuff trademarked.......maybe he should give up coaching and hit the lecture circuit

I say give him another year as well. Sign him to a low base salary with plenty of incentives. If he gets hurt or fizzles out, you have Cedeno ready to take over.

Unfortunately, I feel like the Cubs will let Nomar walk and instead go with a Neifi/Cedeno arrangement...and you know what that means, expect Neifi to get at least 80% of the playing time.

Nomar, despite how bad his average was when he was injured, has raised his average to 274. I wouldn't mind re-signing him if we can get him for five million or less.

I want him back, too.

I think Z needs to pitch the 8th. I'm sure he wants the win. 125 pitches isn't that much.

is that sarcasm?????????????????

ha ha, that would be great if Corey got picked off as a pinch runner

I betcha Dusty will figure out a way to blame Murton for it!
