Just a bad slide by Corey. Now not noticing home plate was not covered is pretty big.

Kudos to Prior for making contact, though.

Ok, so whos play has been worst this inning.

3 error bagger, with 0 outs. Failure to score the run by squeeze, and a terrible slide.

Dude, come on, the Cobs. The Cobs are always playing worst than the other team.

Is this a rhetorical question?

WHY can't the Cubs bring their A-game to the scrub teams too?

Worst slide of all time.....

Thanks Corey.

For those of us with no TV what did he do?

he was going to be safe on the throw, but he slid about a foot in front of the plate and his slide stopped him from making the plate, if that makes any sense.

Prior missed the squeeze sign before that play... Corey was almost home. The Cubs missed 2 opportunities to score the same run.

Prior hits a grounder to the right side, the 2nd baseman throws it home, Corey was WAY ahead of the throw, but his feetfirst slide jammed his spikes into the ground, exactly like the sliding catch Manny tried to make in the World Series.

It was equally as pathetic looking.

Man, Prior sucks. He can't even ground out right.

I think you've gotten your point across.

And what point would that be?

Come on, don't play coy. You've expressed your displeasure with the sort of comment you've been making all game long numerous times. It's one thing to make a comment like that, it's another to repeatedly make them for almost every occurrence in the game.
