ok...what? Nomar is really hurt? Someone please clear this up! Did this happen during the game or what?

ESPN announcers say they got word from the dugout that Nomar had re-injured himself. He wasn't overly limping, but you could see him talking to Dusty and then he grabbed all of his bats and walked to the clubhouse.

Re-injured? That sounds like the same injury happened again

I know. Didn't make much sense when they said it, but I'm pretty sure that's the word they used. He might have just tweaked himself.

Lower back stiffness is a heck of a lot better than a reinjured groin.

Yes. I can breathe a shade easier now.

Although the heat is oppressive here, even at 1.24am

So far Nomar's ankle, shoulder, wrist, groin and back have kept him from playing games for the Cubs since he joined the team...

ESPN: "He'll have to hurry to turn two"

Apparently, they haven't seen that Aramis doesn't have to run out ground balls hard because of his injuries.

And that the time him with a sundial when he does run them out.

That's what I was thinking. He could have ran over and stepped on second himself and still turned the DP.
