*raises hand* The only person who I thought had less power was Augie Ojeda (remember him?)...well, not quite. Maybe a slight exaggeration.

The hardest hit ball that inning was the deep fly out right there.

 

Yet Houston managed to score two runs.

 

Same with us.

 

well that's if you only count the liner by Barrett. I guess we won't count the line drive homerun by Walker, the smoked line drive to left center by Nomar, and the knuckling liner to center by Aramis. but you're right, besides those three the Cubs only hit one ball hard in the first inning.

I said I'd get fired up when he hit one to the warning track. :)

 

How far did it go?

 

Smacked off about the bottom of the top third of the foul pole.

It hit 2/3rds the way up the foul pole, but it wasn't a real hard hit liner... ~375-80 would be my guess.
