Will Lee continune to suck like he has for the past month?

Truthfully speaking he started slumping last year towards the end as well. At this point its not a stretch to think he can finish below .300.

 

If he would get a g-d day off every now and then I'm sure he'd be rested.

walker is a great interview! he was pissed for being taken out of his card game but he was really pissed he wasn't in the line up. he basically said when you look at the lineup and you are a sub, it makes you wonder if you even want to play that day.

he also ripped management very subtlely. it was great. he said when you hear rumors about top tier players(mentioned shef and soriano) coming over in trade you get a jolt of energy but when you don't do anything it realy brings you down! he then said we didn't do anything this year and it was a let down.

I'm glad Aramis could take an hour watching that ball drop instead of running to get a double.

 

He got the hit and the RBI - no sense in pulling HIS groin in the process. We did that at a Cards game already.

 

Not as if him running hard on wet dirt could possibly hurt his-oh wait, we already lost a guy to that this year. :P

Yeah, even fabulously talented players get tired when their managers don't give them A SINGLE FLIPPING DAY OFF...

 

I thought Dusty was supposed to be good at keeping his players fresh down the stretch... :roll:

i am trying but i do not see a scenario where the cubs can win...

Len just said Lawton is 5-36 against Mulder. Maybe that's why he's not playing today.
