The Cubs are gonna get swept badly, because the Cubs can't even score 3 runs.

Well, that would put them at 8 straight losses, which would only help the cause for firing Dusty.

Wow. Ya know, this is really sad. I actually do not want to watch any part of this game. at all. I would be content to not see another game this season. I am so sick of this team and its underacheiving.

I hope Adam Dunn hits 2000000038 home runs today. And mercker makes a spot start and pitches a perfect game. And big Z points and laughs at baker.

You could make a case that their past 2 wins were not very legitimate too. If the Cubs dont come back from 1 down in the ninth vs. Arizona, and Ryan Dempster doesnt snap out of it against Philly, the Cubs have lost 10 in a row

My investment in MLB Extra Innings looks more and more foolish each day.

In that case then I call several of the losses not legitimate because something could have gone right.

I'm sick of all these night games. Seriously, I know most of you probably have jobs, but I am a stay-at-home dad and I like watching the games with my daughter in the afternoons.

Amen, stay at home dad here too. But, ya know, I would rather watch Barney right now than these "hijacked by Dusty" games.

I haven't seen a game in what seems like forever. I don't care how bad they are, I'll watch every game I have an opportunity to. And, I have that opportunity tonight.

This team has inspired me for a new pic in my signature. Ah, how misery can elevate one's Photoshop skills to new heights...

I'm hearing that Murton will be in left, Beernutz in center and Lawton in right.....

Hearing from where?

Sorry, it was on the Score.

If you're right and telling the truth, I love you in a manly-man sorta way.

If you're not, right or telling the truth, I despise you.

With a lefty on the mound, Dusty has absolutely no excuse to sit Murton tonight. None. I wouldn't mind seeing him start against righties either, but hey, Murton only batted against lefties in the minors, right? Right?

Since we *might* FINALLY get the right OF alignment since we acquired Lawton tonight, who wants to bet Perez plays in place of Nomar and/or Macias plays in place of ARam?

I know you too well Dusty... when you do something right in one place, you totally screw it up by *ing up somewhere else.

Either we're gonna get a lineup like this;

RF Lawton

2B Walker

1B Lee

CF Burnitz

3B Ramirez

C Barrett

LF Murton

SS Nomar

P Williams

or this;

RF Lawton

3B Macias

1B Lee

CF Burnitz

C Barrett

SS Perez

2B Walker

LF Murton

P Williams

I'm guessing we see:

1. Lawton - RF

2. Perez - 2B

3. Lee - 1B

4. Barrett - C

5. Nomar - SS

6. Burnitz - CF

7. Murton - LF

8. Macias - 3B

Ramirez is hurting. They won't admit it, but something is bugging him bad. He looks terrible at the plate, and he grimaces every time he runs. Maybe a night off will do him some good.

Like Bob Uecker said in Major League:

"Welcome to major league baseball...sort of."

BACK UP THE TRUCK! BACK IT UP!

Turn this place into a parking lot.

Don't blame Wrigley Stadium, er Field, for the poor play being performed on it. Wrigley is a true baseball shrine.

Is that like the Moneyball line about 9 Scott Hattebergs being the best lineup in baseball?

Would 9 Macias' be the worst?
