This is like the fourth game in which theres been whining of the umpiring on balls and strikes.

Its our team that is sucking, not the umpires. At the other team boards of the Yanks/Red Sox theres never complaining of officiating.

Because you have Arod/Manny/Matsui blasting bombs off of all pitchers. I'm afraid our offense is too streaky this season to be all that effective.

That's the first thing I've ever agreed with you posting.

Umpires have not made us suck this year. At all. One bit.

nice to get a fluke hit by Hollandsworth to tie the game, but I have to bring this back up.

how can anyone legitimately say this after Todd Walker's AB last inning. that pitch has been called a strike exactly three times tonight. in the other inning we had a scoring opportunity to put Lawton in a hole, and twice to Walker there.

not only were they not a strikes, that pitch was not called a strike all night unless DeMuth deicdes to selectively call it in a huge spot against the Cubs. absolutely ridiculous that we continually have to overcome two teams to win a ballgame.

Wow, Hairy's out of the game.

Wow. Wonder if his elbow is hurting him, after that attempted dive.

Jerry may have just sealed his own fate. Its rumored that the Cubs want to bring up Corey. This could be the thing that gets him up here and back in center.

With Wuertz up in the pen, looks like Novoa will close if it comes to that . Which is sad since he's probably the best option (left). Edited by Brian

Yeah, I hate to say it, but Hairston has been doing about as badly lately as Corey was before he got sent down. And he doesn't seem to want to accept the fact that he isn't a power hitter.

Blueheart,

O_O wants to know how old you are and if you're single, but he's too scared to ask.

So, do you like him? Circle one: Y/N

 :P

What is this, junior high? Why don't we just play MASH to resolve this?

as it should be. Patterson playing GG CF and batting 7/8 makes much more sense than this scenario. just sayin'...

It's Yes No Maybe. You always gotta leave the option of doubt in there

HollandsWORTH! gotta give it up...

still woulda rather seen Murton in that sito...

Why? Holly is one of the better pinch hitters around. The fact that he is not probably qualified to be an every day player does not mean he is not a good guy to come off the bench in a tough situation.
