Well I never knew we had Greg Maddux, I totally forgot.....

I'm saying we need ANOTHER Veteran pitcher. If you have too many rookie/young pitchers, and not enough Vets, you don't have the playoff experience needed down the stretch, and IN the playoffs.

For example, the Astros have Clemans/Oswalt/Pettite. All 3 are proven playoff pitchers.

And Glendon gets out of the inning w/o any damage.

Come on offense, don't you think it's time to stop sucking?

Somewhere in the bowel's of Dusty Baker, he's got to be pissed off about the Cubs taking ZERO walks tonight.

Didn't he call that his gameplan for tonight?

"Take walks dudes, so we can, you know, get a dubya tonight."

Unless the veteran pitcher is going to be able to hold the opposing team to 2 runs or less every game I don't think it would matter much the way this offense is going right now.

I know Millwood isn't exactly a stud, but I'd like what he brings to the Cubs. Maybe somebody else, like a Wakefield, or something if Boston could part with him.

hey guys, getting home late. what happened to Williams? whyd did he get pulled in the 4th???

Bases loaded and there was 1 out when it was his turn to bat.

just an observation...

Lieberthal is giving away pitch location unchecked. Painfully obvious what pitch is coming to those at home.

This is absolutely the WORST coached team I have EVER seen.

psst... take a peek back during the windup...

Neifi should have a big night.

meaning?...

He has a reputation for stealing signs and peeking.

nice. wasn't aware this was another of Neifi's 'tools'...

I don't think Boston is giving up any pitching. Who knows how Clement will come back from the head shot and even without that his era was up to 4.43 as he seemed to be starting his second half swoon.
