I LOVE Derrek Lee and couldn't be prouder of what he's done this year, BUT....... he was the lone biggest reason we didn't score a run in that inning.

 

WHY did he run!? oh well, just gonna have to win this one in the 8th or 9th. Old Hat for this team.

When he's in the stretch and throwing a fastball, he's using a slide step. When he's throwing a curve, his leg kicks up higher. Check it out next time a runner is on. Hopefully Rothschild is saying something to him during this half inning.

 

of course after i post this, hill only gives up 1 hit (a home run) and no walks.
