Bacon thrown out to end the top of the 1st trying to get to second and apparently hurt his shoulder. Ron says he's staying in the game.

Marmol having control issues. He's already hit a guy and just threw a 90+ MPH fastball over the batter's head. Fortunately it his the bat for a foul ball!

After last night this game could get interesting in a hurry.

YAY! I finally figured out how to tune in the broadcast on my brother's computer in Japan. \:D/ I couldn't get the sound up and running over the speakers for some reason.

(of course, it's now a rain delay, but good to know)

Marmol: 7 IP, 1 ER, 2 H, 3 BB, 1 HBP, 7 K

Second consecutive strong outing for Carlos! Thomas Atlee is now in for the Jaxx.

Only one HBP on the line? Unless it was scored otherwise I know he hit 2 guys.

That's what Ron Potesta said at the start of this half inning.

EDIT: And Ron just repeated the same line.

It was only a matter of time for my favorite catcher turned outfielder turned pitching prospect on Earth. He does need to learn how to pitch, but he has a very gifted arm. I think worst case scenario, he could be a Francis Beltran type reliever.

Good outing for Williamson today.

Pitcher Change: Scott Williamson replaces Robert Brownlie.

Esteban German strikes out swinging.

Drew Meyer strikes out swinging.

Chad Allen grounds out, second baseman Richard Lewis to first baseman Scott McClain.
