Marmol: 7 IP, 1 ER, 2 H, 3 BB, 1 HBP, 7 K

Second consecutive strong outing for Carlos! Thomas Atlee is now in for the Jaxx.

It was only a matter of time for my favorite catcher turned outfielder turned pitching prospect on Earth. He does need to learn how to pitch, but he has a very gifted arm. I think worst case scenario, he could be a Francis Beltran type reliever.

I love the converted catchers - Randy Wells too! Carlos just needs to work on that control (29 K, 21 BB, 4 HBP). Carlos' AA ERA is down to 3.31.

Ron just corrected himself (DJAXX, did you e-mail Ron?)...Carlos hit 2 batters today.

I do like Wells too. He has a very lively arm. I'd like to see him close full-time at AA (with Aardsma in Chicago).

Jaxx score on a single from Montanez who gets in a rundown to end the inning. To the bottom of the 9th, 3-1 Jaxx.

Does Randy just throw 2 pitches? He's gone back to the rotation in Daytona with good results in two starts thus far.

.310/.375/.586/.961 in 29 ABs/9 games at AA. Not too shabby.

Agreed, he's playing great ball since joining the Jaxx. He's also made some solid defensive plays (even though he got an error).

Not sure. But he was fastball/slider when I saw him for Lansing. I believe I saw him as a starter too.

Creighton misplays the ball for an E :x ](*,) #-o

3-3, winning RISP

Ugh, right off his glove. Ron was saying, "Creighton catch--NO! He dropped it." :(

Now I know what the Cardinal fans felt like when Pujols ripped that ball in the 9th...........................right to Neifi

According to my notes that's his first E of the season with the Jaxx (unless he made one earlier in the game)

Sorry, Matt :alright:

It sounds like the umpiring crew is having trouble keeping control in Montgomery

It sounds like the home plate ump is trying to make some trouble.

Jaxx with 2 on, 2 out in the top of the 10th. It sound like a violent atmosphere in Montgomery. Be careful, Ron!

This crew had had both sides arguing calls most of the night, which has lead to the fans getting into the action.

Anyone care to explain for those of us who are unable to listen?

Creighton got hit! (at least the ump said he was clipped)

Yet another Manager on the field to argue with this crew
