Okay, I know I have done your fantasy lineup before. I dont think I have done a full 25 man though. I did a quick search and I didnt find a thread with that. So, if somebody finds one, lock this i guess.

I like Cano.

Also, I tried to avoid age (Clemens). And I like wood.

Notice, thats MY dream lineup.

Nobody has posted theirs yet.

Rotation:

BJ Ryan

Dempster (12th pitcher assuming it's the Cubs...guh)

Infield:

C. Figgins

R. Furcal - crap year, still like him, for no valid reason (insert Freel instead)

D. Wright

Mauer/VMart - doesn't matter

H. Blanco - someone has to make outs...

Outfield:

C. Crawford

M. Cabrera

Threw that together fairly quick, not sure how much would be the same if I looked at it longer.

im too lazy to do this, but if we can have anyone we want, my bullpen is going to be all starters with maybe a couple exceptions, so that when my normal starters get hurt, i have backups

Scott Downs

Les Lancaster

Calvin Homerun Ball Schiraldi- he was better than Clemens in college

CL-Mitch Williams

With this team I am pretty sure I could manage them to a 45-50 win season then we can get the top pick in the draft the next year and take a high school pitcher who throws really hard. God the late 80's early 90's must have been hell, thankfully I wasn't old enough to remember a lot of it.

1B-Eric Perry -- don't remember him,

2B-Ty Griffin -- a stud -- against Cuba in the Olympic games.

SS-Luis Montanez -- and the waiting, is the hardest part.

F-Earl Cunningham -- Ate his way out of Pro ball.

Tuffy Rhoads -- 3 hrs on opening day and then dissapears

Derrek May -- had the name of a star but never did a thing

P-Lance Dickson -- Mr. Fragile.

Micha Bowie -- We got jobbed by the Braves

Jeff Pico - Dont remember enough about him.

Mike Harkey -- Bob Gibson lite

Jamie Navarro -- Mr. Have a great year, come to the Cubs and suck.

Eric Perry played for the peoria chiefs, he was never a huge prospect. Just some guy who played basketball at Landmark with my dad. As a result I met him a couple of times and even got his autograph. He was released in the middle of the year one year when he was hitting over .300. It was very strange. Although he was like 27 in low A still.

I'm a little late to this, but here is my team anyways. I chose to use a budget of $75 million so I couldn't just cram All-Stars on my team, but I still made a team that even Dusty could win 90+ with.

Bench players: Derrick Jeter, Chone Figgins, Carl Crawford, and Aramis Ramirez.

first of all, nobody could ever stop that lineup. Posednik has 50 SB's already, he's headed for Vince Coleman territory. Abreu last year was a 40/30 guy and he's definitely going to be 30/30 this year -plus he's an on-base machine. Tejada in the 3-hole with Posednik and Abreu in front of him would have 165 RBI's. Arod hitting cleanup would just be icing on the cake because if Tejada for some reason doesnt clear the bases.....Arod would. He'd have pretty much get an RBI every game, like Tejada. And Manny Ramirez hitting 5th would be beyond devastating. Then you follow him up with .370 hitting D-Lee and his ridiculous OBP/SLUG%. by the time he would make it to the plate, the bases would already by clear.

As for the rotation, here's how i'd go.

SP2 Mark Buerhle

SP3 Johan Santana

SP4 Mark Prior

SP5 Carlos Zambrano

RP Brad Lidge

RP Dustin Hermanson
