Hey to someone who knows, what ever happened to OUR Machado. I can't remember his first name anymore. Is he still in the majors?

Robert, the catcher?

Yea is he still playing ball?

i thought i saw him on some AAA team not too long ago.

Nice work by Williams.

He has 82 pitches. Should he stay for the 7th?

In his first 3 starts he wnet 101, 88, 102 pitches respectively. I would think he's good for another inning.

Well with a 6 run lead, I don't see why not.

Nice walk Mike.

Ugh, I'd be nervous moving Williams I think he has such a bigger upside that starting Mitre or Rusch if we want to compete this year.... The only positive would be if Rich Hill is given a shot at starting and is succesful.

i'd much rather move Mitre or Rusch then Williams, just my opinion.

I'm with you. And I think they've both enjoyed enough success this year to be valuable as well.

the game mitre had against the Blue Jays was pretty big imo. he went toe to toe with and beat Roy Halladay. He proved he can pitch at this level and is just a victum of being on a team with an exceptional rotation.

Unfortunately, one or two big games is nice but it doesn't sell GMs who know better. From where I sit, Williams brings more than Rusch and a whole lot more Mitre right now, especially if he keeps this up.

Um, yes. Since when is 82 pitches a pitch limit for a 23 old pitcher not coming off an injury?

Just was asking, that's all. I was thinking of him going through 7 anyways. Just wanted others opinions.

yes but remember we got Aram for Bobby Hill. The Mets traded Kazmir for V. Zambrano. GMs are dumb. Edited by illiniguy

That could have been read with more attitude than was meant. Sorry!

Oh naw, it's all good. I guess I am a type of a poster that likes to hear other's opinions.
