Interest in Wilson?

An Insider link on ESPN.com suggests that the Cubs (and Nats) are interested in Wilson. I thought this was dead. Anyone have any insight?

I'd rather have Dan than Preston at this point. I take that back, Dusty would probably put Dan behind the plate 4 times a week. I don't want either. Besides, we already met our quota of Wilsons for this year. We don't need any more.

There have been articles out there quoting Hendry as saying he still thinks we have a chance at the playoffs, but he's not going to trade the future for a 1/2 year rental. If he does make a trade it's going to be for a player who will be around for a few years. Wilson would be a rental player, so he's probably not coming here.

I realize it has come up here many times, but recent reports suggested that Hendry wasn't interested in 2-month rentals. So I was wondering why this rumor showed up today on ESPN. Thought there might be a new development and wanted to see if anyone here knew anything.
