Do we know where Will Sanders is?  Feels clearly injury at this point but curious about degree.

As a pitcher in the Cubs' system this season, it's safe to assume he requires amputation.

I don't know where it ended but at one point he was like 25 pitches and 24 strikes.

ACL pitch counts aren’t accurate.

Normally, they record strikeouts as just 3 strikes and walks as just 4 balls no matter what actually happens.

Great debut for Wing. Yander María now in.

Right, that makes more sense. Was wondering about that after I saw it.

I learned the hard way when I panicked that Wiggins had thrown like 12 straight balls in his pro debut. It was against the Giants who have a livestream so I went back and looked afterwards and they were all walks on 3-2 counts.

Wonder if Juan Cabada pulled a Jefferson Rojas and needed only one game in the ACL before being promoted.

I'm torn between being excited for a good thing and being suspicious of the timing.  Why didn't they just do this over the Monday system-wide off day?

Cabada with a 2-run triple. 3/4 on the day.

Where are you sourcing box score info for these games?  I'm not seeing them in the normal milb.com sources.  Or  https://www.mlb.com/milb/arizona-complex.  I'm thinking not Az Phil, based on reference to pitch/strike counts.

Yeah, could also be bad news about Cepeda.

Sigh. Conrad not even healthy enough for ACL action yet, after a month. Let’s not go down the Brennen Davis path, please.
