And the Mitre bullpen experiment begins...

Riddle me this...

Why wouldn't Dusty put the pitcher in Ramirez's spot in the order and have Burnitz inserted in the nine spot? That would be the logical double switch. Alas...

Well, it is only the 6th inning, and Burnitz in the 4 spot isn't so much of a stretch from the normal lineup. That 1-2-3-4 sequence will be batting again this game.

And a hearty welcome back to the non-premium members. If the attack resumes, I may have to disable the regular UI until a more permanent fix is possible...

Finally got on! Our power was out from 5 am until 2:30 pm, then I try and get on and the board was down! That was a long time without AC... looks like Maddux didn't have his best stuff, but theres plenty of time left!

And Doobie just misses.

Why did Ramirez leave the game?

HBP that got him between the shin guard and knee.

Ronny's looking good up there.

And once again, Jenkins really wanted to let that one go over his head. Thinking about diving on that one? Yeesh.

Looks like Mitre's approach out of the 'pen is to throw that big breaking ball more. He doesn't have his hard sinker, which is to be expected. Unfortunately, this could likely mean that he'll give up more HRs.

EDIT: And lets Damien FREAKING Miller jack one out.
