And earlier in the year, they seems to be off for a nearly full week.

This was a weird scheduling quirk. Back-to-back games in L.A. in three nights. It showed tonight.

They’ve played the same number of games as the BJs. Fewer than a lot of other teams. 
 

it’s a condensed schedule this year with the Olympics break. More games early but they’ve only had one back to back nights, and have another one coming up next week.

Slaggert and Rinzel have been sent to Rockford. The Hawks now have 6 defensemen on the roster and will return to the usual 12/6 lineup for the immediate future.

Until this season, I viewed Crevier as the odd man out among the young defensemen in the system. He's not only changed my opinion, but he's become one of my favorite players on the team.

Schenn might just ended the Hawks season with a dirty hit on Bedard at the end of the game. It looked bad. 

Damn that dirty AF team in St. Louis.

With Bedard out, it's time we address the fact that Nazar hasn't scored a goal since October. He's still actively impacting the game, but dude has been ice cold with the twig for nearly two months now.

At the time of this post, there is nothing yet. With that said, I expect 98 to miss 6-8 weeks.

There is no silver lining in losing your star player and one of the real superstars in the league, but we now get an extended look at Lardis in action and that is worth tuning in for in spite of how bad things are going to get until 98 comes back.

He’s going to be reevaluated after the new year. So that’s at least 7 games. Probably doesn’t play on the 1st, which would make it 8 with Saturday at DC then Sunday the 4th vs Vegas. Maybe 9 or 10 more games before rematch with STL.

I think my disinterest was more about Soderblom stinking up the place yet again. I definitely like watching the youngsters fly around the ice.
