Shota cannot be the game one wildcard starter under any circumstances if the game is at Wrigley like we expect. Giving up a bomb before people settle in and the Cubs get to bat will suck all the life out of the park.

I never suggested he was bad. I was merely referencing that the opponent's stats don't really matter because there have been plenty of dogshit pitchers that have stymied the order.
