I just keep hoping for something different. Even fouling off a dozen before K’ing would feel like a small victory at this point.

That was better! PCA clearly reading the forum between innings.

Nice to see some hits strung together, but EVERYTHING is on the ground. I think Busch's leadoff single and Seiya's fly out are the only two in the air so far?

Hoerner a funny hitter..

He can do all the right things when it comes to basic hitting but it just feels like whenever an opportunity comes to get a hit in situations like the one he had, he'll make a weak out.

Just frustrating 😑

When is the last time we got a hit with the bases loaded?

It had to have been the Ballestaros rbi double on Milwaukee the day after Sandberg passed. I’m drawing a blank after that.

They literally just showed his average with bases loaded and it was like .378

Hoerner is 3rd in Baseball when hitting with risp. He doesn’t make weak contract all the time.

He had a 985 OPS in July. It's basically been a 2 week slump.

Man, it feels so much longer. Maybe I was conflating the struggles of Seiya, PCA, and Tucker together. That adds up to two months, right?

Wind is blowing out for the first time since they’ve been in second place and can’t even lift one to the warning track. Fcking embarrassing.

Is it blowing out?  I think it is a crosswind and in a little when hit to right. Not really a factor.
