I saw on Reddit this morning that it's already reached the point where if the Rockies go .500 from this point on they'd lose 100 games

Going to be wild when the White Sox and Rockies back to back have historically bad years and neither team gets the 1-1 pick in the draft (the Rockies have picked top-10 two years running, like the White Sox had previously).

Crazy. So to avoid 122 losses to set a new record, the Rockies would need to go 32-74 the rest of the way. I have my doubts they can even manage 30 wins for the entire year.

Rockies are currently 21-72, which is a pace of 36.6 wins.

The 2024 White Sox were 26-67 through 93 games and won the next one. However, after that the White Sox went 4-42 in their next 46 games. That left them at 31-109 through 140 games.

If the Rockies keep playing at their current place, they'll have the same record (or a game better) as the WS through 140 games.

Rockies record by month (before today). So as many wins in each of the last three months by themselves than in the first two months combined.

After tonight's win, the Rockies are 37-89, which is a pace of 47.5 wins. So they'd have to go 4-32 to match the White Sox last year. Probably not happening at this point.
