My biggest concern about the Cards is whether our middle infield defense will be able to support our staff of heavy groundball pitchers.

The Cardinals are currently on pace to break the team record (192 in 1974) for double plays turned in a season (over 200).

Possibly one of the funniest things I have heard yet was a co worker of mine telling me the Cubs will lose 100 games this year.

 

haha that prediction in hindsight doesn't sound nearly as ridiculous

I think Jose would be great.

Matheny will be a manager at some point also. He's probably several years from retirement, so maybe he can be the Cards manager after the Secret Weapon ;)
