We're also going to go on a prize drive, and I hope you will consider donating something to it -- if you go to the game, splurge on an extra scorecard and postage to send it to me. I'll do the rest.

Great work, Serena. I think this should be really interesting. My only question is the location. Is this contest just gonna be held in the Game Thread Forum? It seems there would be more people interested if it was in Baseball Discsussion. Regardless, I'm signing up and plan on finishing 18th.

Edit to add: I'm not officially entering just because I'm pulling together the prize packages, etc.

I definitely encourage participation. A lot of great prizes, and no cost to enter other than the cost of Premium membership (which gives you added features and content beyond the contest).

May I suggest Tim create a forum within gamethreads for this, so that we dont have a lot of entries taking up space.

Seriously, we will find a new house for this once we start taking entries. For now, the game thread forum is just fine, especially since spring training will be starting up. People will have a month to enter the contest, so it's not like it will be a complete surprise. :)

 

AND a 1997 Cubs Information Guide has been added to the Flashback package.

I didn't take part, which is why I didn't win.

 

Details that UConn was the only Final 4 team I had that really made it and I had them losing the national championship.
