I think this may be it for Hendricks, they have guys due to come off the IL, young SPs that should be starting.  This season is a loss, so might as well just let the young arms get the experience and try to salvage something positive out of the rest of season.

What happened?

They pulled Hendricks after two innings and about 45 pitches with no apparent injury. Then they put in a worse pitcher.

I am so tired of Hoyer keeping a bunch of middling 30+ yr old relievers who’ve done nothing their whole career and not trying the young prospects throwing 95 mph + who’ve been dominating AAA. Just a loser mentality to keep waiting for things to change and trotting out the same people.

Mowens and JD said he was all emotional in the dugout, grabbed his stuff and departed into the lock room. I wonder if there was an agreement that he will pitch one final time for a couple of innings or he’s felt an injury.

6 singles, 4 walks, 2 HBP, 2 errors. 80 pitches and not even out of the 3rd inning. What. A. horsefeathers. Show.

I didn’t even know it was possible for a Major League Baseball team to walk 2 batters, hit a batter, AND commit two stupid errors in one inning.

Yeah, we won’t bring in Lopez first, because as a fanbase we deserve to get the worse reliever in the world up first. I do feel, however, if Brewer could throw slightly better to  2nd base than he can to the plate, and Swanson was at least above average in any skill in baseball and could field a throw from the catcher, it wouldn’t be 5-0. Only looking at the positives.

Oh, hi Jed. horsefeathers off Jed.

Dansby .04 points away from the Mendoza line. Those defensive runs saw though right Jed? I’ll raise your $100 million Atlanta and add swap those zeros with 7’s..

I don’t throw very hard and my “stuff” in general is horsefeathers putrid. But can Jed sign me? I feel like the results wouldn’t be any different.

Letting Hendricks pitch with an injury is such a Cubs thing. Injury management is horrible in this organization

Seriously! The coaching and conditioners have to be MLB worst
