Do you really need the credit card of purchase. I remember the first time I purchased online and went through the will-call process; I made sure I had all that stuff. But I didn't need the CC, so the last few times I've never bothered.

Yes, you do. I picked mine up on the 16th and they actually ran the card thru to get the tickets that were purchased against it. They said this was a new way this year. They didn't need the order numbers (I brought all my email confirmations because last year I needed thoses), but they did need the credit card.

Kasey

What would they do if a card expired between the date of purchase and date of game?

Any idea as to when the Cubs will mail tickets purchased online?

I've received all of mine. They came in last week.

I picked my tickets up from the ticket office today with no problems. I was there for a grand total of 3 minutes. I didn't have to who my credit card but I did need my confirmation numbers and photo identification.

Just wanted to give folks a heads up that there are some good seats available online for the Sunday game. I just pulled up a pair in section 124. It's supposed to be 63 and partly cloudy Sunday.

I was just about to say that. Maddux should be pitching so if you can pull bleacher tickets, there is a good shot at a souvinier ;)

Sadly, no bleacher tickets available. The wind shouldn't be much of a factor, so maybe some lawn chairs on Waveland or Sheffield may be the better spot for some free baseballs.

Looks like they even have 4 very good seats together. You won't find 4 all that often.

The ticket exchange e-mail list at work has Cubs tickets all the time. It's so tempting. Today there were tickets for all week (I'm assuming an attorney's season tickets) for all the 1:20 weekday games, section 27. They're just begging for me to call in sick or something. Both of the games I currently have tickets for (but may or may not attend) are night games.

Speaking of, yesterday I almost had a big ticket failure when my mom came in saying "Are these tickets real?" holding my four dugout box seats for the Marlins game in June. Apparently my dad opened my mail inadvertently, leaving it on the kitchen counter, and my mom nearly threw the envelope away. I screamed.

For what it's worth, I got my tickets for the Cubs/Cards at Busch on July 23rd today. It's not a game at Wrigley, but I'm looking forward to it.

URGENT!!! I just realized that my bleacher tix at will call for tomorrows game are under my Dad's credit card! What are my options?!?!

1)I can just use my ID, they will be cool with that.

2)I can have my Dad call up the box office and have the tickets changed to my name. But I maxed out tickets on my credit card under my name, will I run the risk of anything being cancelled?

3)I get my Dad's ID and credit card and bring it with mine and they will be cool with that.

4)I tell them my Dad recently passed away and I am here to pick up his tickets.

Not at all advserse to #4 and it will probably take the least amount of effort on my part. #3 will be a big pain. Anyone have any insight?

Your Dad can call the ticket office and put the tickets in your name for pickup. Make sure he has the credit card info and confirmation number for the tickets before he calls. You should then be able to pick them up with just your id.

And I can pick up all of the tickets I bought on his credit card and all of the tickets I bought on my credit card all at the same time right? They aren't going to have a problem with having 84 tickets under my name, are they?

Well, they might. As Serena said, definitely have him call up the Cubs and arrange them to be under your name. If you want to pick up all of the tickets tomorrow, you may also want to get your Dad to make a photocopy of his driver's license and credit card for you. But ask the Cubs and see what they have to say first.

I don't have to pick up all of the tickets tomorrow, in fact I'd rather just pick up tomorrows game so I don't have to worry about carrying the other tickets around all day, is that possible? That would probably solve my worrying about getting my tickets cancelled, right?

I'd imagine that orders would have already been cancelled if they were going to cancel them.

It appears that there are some good seats available for Monday afternoon's game with the Padres as well.

Already got mine a few weeks ago :)

Enjoy Dempster. :(

I will....I have bleacher seats. I can't wait to participate in the tradition of throwing HR balls back

YES!!! Finally received my tickets! They sure are bland though. Just a plain white ticket with the tickets.com logo embedded on it? That's weak.

I have a question and I might as well post it here. For the other game I'm going to, I chose the Will Call option for my bleacher seats. Is there a certain window of time that I have to pick them up in? Basically what I'm asking is this: Can I pick them up the day of the game?

Yeah. That's the one downside of having them mailed from out in california (tickets.com) instead of having them printed at the ticket office. That's one of the reasons I often just do will call if I can.

No, there's no specific window that you have to pick them up from. Unlike other teams, the Cubs have all of the windows equiped with computers and they print them out on the spot. And yeah, you can pick them up at any time.

There's tickets in section 215 for that game on eBay for $8 a piece.

I was able to pull up 19 (yes nineteen) club box tickets next to each other for tomorrows game. EVERYTHING is available, from bleachers to field box. If you are in the Area and are looking to goto a Cubs game, this is one to goto (despite the weather).

Id go for sure if I didn't have to goto the Bulls game tomorrow (damn Bulls playoff game, ruining everything ;))

You should be able to go down and get tickets way below face from scalpers in the first inning.
