Ticket Successes and Failures Thread

I doubt I'd be able to "afford" (what a funny word) them right now. And since I'm going to a Cubs/Red Sox game.

I'm not really worried about a taker. I know that I need three of them. My brother, nephew, and I will be coming. I just found out that Jenny has to work and can't get off, so I have three extra now. I'd love to trade the three for tickets to the Saturday game so we could go to both games...but I doubt that works out.

Look into trading those three for possibly two UD reserve seats for the Saturday game. Contact some ticket brokers and ask. It'll be harder for you because you'd have to mail in the tickets, but it might be worth a shot.

Oh, i just saw on your location it says Chicago, IL. $1000 for 2 tickets is pretty darn good. I think I mighta done the same thing.

 

yeah, I live here now. i actually lived here then too. it wasn't entirely legal, but I didn't really know that until after the fact since I'd just moved here. Plus, I had a wedding to pay for, so I think knowing that may not have deterred me.

I finally got through at 12:30, and tried for Ryno's game. 4 tix in the LF corner (UD 503)... so I passed. :(

All rightie, then, just started my second - no third hour in the VWR. I don't ask for much, just a few games around my birthday. Here's my priorities:

 

Two tix each to:

(1) 5/25 v. Houston

(2) 5/24 vs. Houston

(3) 5/26 v. Colorado

 

If you get in, could you PM me, or better yet, IM me on AOL (KatherineJo) after you've made your own purchases? I would much appreciate if you could stay in a while longer if you can, to pick up the tix above - best available seating.

I don't even know if I am going to even bother with Brewers tickets tomorrow. I didn't think I was going to have any luck today with Cubs tickets. Probably still buy Brewer tickets, they are playing the Cubs on my B-Day.

Mustang don't get discouraged, they didn't sell everything out last year, there'll definitely be games you can go to.

 

I've given up my right to complain, as despite my 3 hours of nothing from VWR, I got a call from my mom who got a call from my aunt who got a call from my cousin saying he got 2 tickets to the Sandberg game and would sell em to me at face value.(He's a Sox fan.)
