I just find it hilarious that we are in a position where Wisdom is the “best” play to leadoff. 0-6 with 5k’s against lefties so far.

Swanson OPS over .800 the last 9 games. Encouraging

Coincides exactly with when I dumped him in fantasy baseball with the exact goal of getting his bat going again

Make that 0-7 with 6k’s.

Wisdom kills lefties, so of course the second the Cubs decide to try to weaponize that in their lineup he goes over a cliff

Has anyone mentioned that this team sucks

A few people mentioned it but apparently since they won 2 against the white sox they are still a juggernaut and not terrible

JD was talking with boog about when he was in the yankee farm he started and pitched 11 innings and struck out 20 in one game.

11 innings for a prospect? That would be blasphemous in todays minors.

He said he threw over 180 pitches too

Reds are playing their guys right where these hitters hit the ball...

There's nothing special about the Reds positioning, it's just the randomness of baseball at play. If the Cubs continue to hit the ball hard, the runs will come.

Can't wait til August when we can at least watch the prospects play over these scrubs.

How sad is it when a 4th outfielder is your best hitter on the team with a .264 Avg and .771 OPS .

6 of the 9 in today lineup has a batting average of 220 and below 😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫

I remember back when i was young, it was common to have 3 maybe 4 cub hitters hitting above or close to 300.

but alas batting average is no longer relevant.

Do we have a right handed batter worth a horsefeathers?

Swanson and Happ both crushed the ball, unfortunately, they were both GB's.
