Tonight hasn’t been so bad. Working the pitch count, and Lindor made a good play on Wisdom’s hard hit ball that would had 2 on with 1 out for Ian otherwise. 
 

Same for the inning where Alonso made a good play on Tachman.

I would love to see Luis Vasquez get a shot but I know Swanson not going anywhere for a couple years..

I think Cristian Hernandez would be the next possible replacement in a couple years if they can or need to move Swanson

He's 2 OAA so far this year which is tied for 9th among SS. Last year he was 1st with 20 OAA, a full 4 more than the 2nd best SS.  

Yeah its seemingly slipped but its also just 1 month in the season. 

TBH, I'm not a very big Swanson fan at all but give it a couple more months...he's a really streaky bat, maybe he's a streaky glove too lol

Edit: Also I should mention his bWAR this year is 0.6, which is 2nd among the big 4 SS of 2023 behind Turner.  Correa is at 0.2 and Bogaerts is at -0.2.

Madrigal being late on that 3-1 fastball down the middle is frustrating.  The guy offers nothing with the bat if he can't put a good swing on that.
