They're scoring like 20 more ppg without him. I love that we apparently had the gall to ask for Garland for him lol

His contract may be difficult to move. Everyone else can also see how much better the Bulls are playing without him. Zero leverage.

If guys like James Harden keep getting moved then we should absolutely be able to find a taker for Zach.

Great game and I’m loving the development of Patrick and Coby. I think Billy has to stop Demar from going iso the last two minutes of a close game. Time to distribute the ball and get the entire team involved. It’s worked the last ten games, time to close games that way.

What do the Bulls do with Zach if he’s ready to come back and no trade partner can be found?

We're getting to a sample size, where it's really hard to refute this is a better team with Lavine not on it, but I just can't imagine them actually benching him even if him playing makes them worse.

You have to play him and hopes he gets hot so you can trade him

This team is so strange. Was Zach really holding this team back that badly?  I can’t believe I’m saying this but Pat Williams is starting to look like a real player. Like I used to think that he really just didn’t have much of a role on the floor. He was just kind of there and he could get some stats due to his minutes but he wasn’t making an impact. It’s starting to feel like he is making an impact now to some degree. I wonder if advanced stats agree with that assessment.

It’s crazy what’s happened with the younger players in the 11 games since LaVine got hurt (points-rebounds-assists):

White before: 13-2-4

White after: 24-6-6

Williams before:  7-3-1

Williams after:  14-4-1

Dosunmu before:  5-1-1

Dosunmu after:  10-3-2

I realize I should add minutes to this:

White 32>39, Williams 23>33, Dosunmu 15>29.

Overall the three have added 31 minutes, 23 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 assists, more than making up for LaVine’s lost 35-21-4-3, while Derozen, Vucevic and Drummond have all seen their scoring nudge up a couple points per game.

They were barely hitting 100 each game with LaVine and now they seem to be going over 110 each game now.

They’ve scored 120+ in 6/11 without LaVine. They were 1/19 with LaVine.

106 is their lowest point total in the 11 games without LaVine. They scored less than that in 10/19 with LaVine.
