Today's pitching matchup is much more favorable to the Cubs but wow, that game yesterday stung. Hard to lose a game when you get a performance like that from Taillon and use your best relievers.

Stroman coming back Friday in a relief role is certainly interesting. Would love it if he could dial up his stuff to get some more Ks but guessing he’s already going to be less than 100%

Definitely a better pitching matchup due to having Steele going but Kelly is going to be tough, 18th in baseball in SP WAR and coming off some good starts (and 1 bad one).  But this is baseball so the Cubs will probably hit him well and all will be good (I hope)

I'm just not a fan of him,the 3 man booth, or the revolving door in the booth, plus I think JD is better and more into it without Boog.

I'd like to see Alex Cohen who calls the Iowa Cubs games take over the play by play

Hughes has the slightest hitch in his delivery when things happen (because he's so used to having to read ad copy every time there's a walk, hit, strikeout, etc.). Must be weird for him to just be able to call a baseball game rather than the neverending stream of ad garbage
