If the Panthers lose tonight, they'll be 0-2 with two divisional losses and everyone else in the NFC South will be 2-0. So this is about as important as a Week 2 game ever gets if this team is to be anything besides an accomplice in the Bears' plans to get Caleb Williams.

Saints are pretty good, with their clear weakness being the offensive line, so who knows.  I expect a big Saints win tonight, although Bryce should probably be fine in time if he can keep healthy.

Limited sample size warning, but Young acts a lot like Fields does. He holds the ball a long time and he panics under pressure.

Saints Oline is awful

It really is bad, and it’s a shame because they have all the other pieces on offense.  Once Kamara returns Week 4 it will alleviate the pass rush, but yeah, they are BAD.

The biggest difference between the Bryce Young and Jimmy Clausen eras is that people generally like Bryce Young. Other than that it's pretty much the same thing.

I mean he looks awful right? Inaccurate, holding the ball way too long, doesn't feel the pressure, etc. 90% of his passes are screens or 5 yard outs. If I'm Carolina I'm kind of nervous right now.

Agreed.  I watched him last week vs the Falcons and he just seems to have zero feel for playing NFL QB.

He has absolutely no help from anyone else on offense, and neither did Clausen. But I can't think of literally any NFL QB who started THIS terrible and became a real star, which is what Young has to be to justify the assets used to get him. At some point if you're good enough you're able to make good stuff happen.

Another step in the right direction to having the #1 and #2 pick next year. Unfortunately, Carolina's defense looks capable enough to steal a few wins.

Don't worry, the 2010 defense eventually folded from carrying the team all year and so will this one. Also every damn player who's any good on this team is getting injured so they'll get worse

We'll be able to trade out of both spots for a haul of future picks!
