Brewers win, but still an overall great day.  Even with a loss tomorrow, the Cubs will be in good shape coming out of the Braves series.  And it's baseball, so they might just steal another one.

Semantics but I'd call it very good. The Pirates and Dodgers crapping the bed late hurts a bit.

But the fact that even if we lose tomorrow and everyone else wins, we'd only lose 1 game to the Brewers, Phillies and Padres, a 1/2 game to the Giants and would lose no ground to the Reds, Marlins and DBacks is great.

Since we passed the Diamondbacks in the standings I want to point out that on July 2nd, they were 50-34, while the Cubs were 38-43, separated by 10.5 games in the standings.

Since then Arizona has gone 7-21 while the Cubs have gone 19-11 and Chicago is now 0.5 games better for the season.

Jose Ramirez knocking out Tim Anderson ranks up pretty high on the hilarious scale

Ha, saw it, Cleveland announcer "Down goes Anderson" sounded like Howard Cossell

The Reds have more errors (4) than hits (3).

I hope the Cubs broke the Reds.

The Reds will finish under .500 and won't be a factor in the division.

So I'm thinking that we see Luke Little soon than later.  Thoughts?

He needs to throw strikes more consistently to have an impact. He's not on the 40 man yet, so other relievers have at least a slight advantage in being called up.

It might happen, but I don't think it is likely right now.
