Nice win. I would have been nice to beat them with Shaq playing, though.

I'll take it, though. The Bulls actually had an off shooting night, at least it appears that way from the box score.

Quote from Skiles on why Ben Gordon doesn't start and play more minutes: "Many people ask me that and the reason is that he can't do that yet. He is a very explosive player in 5 or so minute spurts but he has to improve his defense and consistency."

I think today's game shows that perfectly. He was struggling early in the game and then down the stretch and in overtime, he just took over.

True, Shaq didn't play. But his replacements were playing out of their minds... Doleac scored 8 on 4 of 4 shooting, and Wang scored 11 on 5 of 6... each in around 20 minutes.. not bad for backups.

Wang was driving me nuts.

to be honest, the bullies played like garbola tonight, but still managed to pull one out. the heat 'supporting cast' played incredibly, but the Bulls should have won this game easily. terrible shooting night.

reporter: What does it feel like when you are hot?

Gordon: It feels like you can't miss. It feels like you are shooting into Lake Michigan.

reporter: At what point in the game do you think you got hot?

Gordon: I think I was hot the whole game but the shots just weren't falling in the first half.

Woooooo! \:D/

I just talked to my cousins on their way back to Naperville from the game. They thorougly enjoyed themselves at the game (it was my younger cousins first Bulls game). That's four in a row!

Oh, and Wang lives in my town of Arcadia (yes, Joan of Arcadia's Arcadia). He lives up in the fancy gated community in the foothills and his neighbors include Jet Li and Paul Walker.

EDIT: Bulls now own the 6th seed (Boston would be their opponent). And they have a better record than the Lakers. Time to make fun of everyone here. :D

Bulls will now finish with a winning record in the "month that will kill them". A win tomorrow and they are 7-4, a loss and they are 6-5

Tomorrow the Bulls play the Bobcats in Charlotte; it's on WGN at 6 pm CT.

Watch out now though: Orlando is a half game behind the Bulls in the 7th seed and the red hot Pacers are a game back in the 8th slot.

so much for the Bulls not being able to do well in the stretch of games... :)

oh yeah, Bulls win 97-90.

Well, sure, when you have someone "Chaney" Shaq, then it's not so bad. :P Kudos to the Bulls for getting 2 wins out of that stretch. At least my Cavaliers beat them. Speaking of the Cavaliers, they got rocked by Indiana tonight, real bad shooting night. They add Jiri Welsch at the deadline, then he plays 5 minutes while Newble gets 35 and Snow gets 23. :wall:

I imagine they must be really tired. 4 games in 5 days is rough. iirc, the cats gave them a real fight last time too.
